A B S T R A C T Background and Objective: Headache is one of the common pains in children and adolescents and its prevalence increases with age. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the clinical characteristics of adolescents with migraine in Ilam. Materials and methods: In this descriptive study, 90 teenagers with migraine in Ilam city were included in the study. The sampling method was such that the patients referred to the clinics and clinics of Ilam city were included in the sample. After obtaining informed consent from the patients, the researcher's checklist was completed, which included questions about demographic information and migraine. The data obtained from this study were entered into SPSS 16 software and analyzed. Results: According to the findings, most of the patients in the age range of 15 to 16 years with a rate of 29 (30.5%) were girls with a rate of 60 (63.2%). Also, aggravating factors included the smell of cigarettes with a rate of 27 (28.4%) and relieving factors included the use of painkillers with a rate of 58 (61.1%). In terms of headache severity, 43(45.3%) had low pain intensity, 39(41.1%) had moderate pain and 13(13.7%) had severe pain. Conclusion: Considering that more than half of the patients had moderate and severe pain, for this reason, necessary measures should be taken to prevent and treat the pain of these patients.
